We also understand the importance of flexibility. As an independent contractor, you have other commitments. If a project fits your schedule and skill set, take it! If not, no problem—simply wait for the next opportunity that’s a better match for you. You’re in control of the work you take on.
Finally, we only plan to grow the network of Fixers to ensure coverage. We want each Fixer to be able to obtain as much work as they want. So as long as you deliver a great experience, we can bring you as much work as you'd like!
What are the fees?
Joining the Fixer network is completely free. Once approved, you have full control over which projects you accept.
When you take on a project, a service fee will be added to the customer’s total. This covers the costs of marketing, customer acquisition, and administrative tasks like estimates, scheduling, invoicing, and payment processing.
Unlike other platforms, we don’t charge you for leads. The payment process is simple—after you complete a job, we pay you.
The one requirement that we do have is that you deliver a great customer experience. From each interaction to the job itself, we mandate a great experience. This leads to more projects and referrals. We have successfully completed 65,000 jobs and the only way that continues is to deliver an exceptional experience each time.
What is the process?
First, we have to offically get you approved to be a part of the Fixer network. The form above is the first step. Next we need to complete a background check and fill out official paperwork.
Once you are a part of the Fixer network is when you can start to get paid. As projects come in, you will be notified via text and email. If they fit your specialties and location you can accept the project.
We add you to a propietary software that makes management of the job simple. You will be scheduled for the job and it will have all the details (project scope, address, name, etc). There will be an easy way to let customer know you are on the way. Once the job is complete, your part is done. We then charge the customer, and remit payment to you.
